3月1日発売された「ウイニングイレブン2012 J.LEAGUEパック」の選手能力値について、エル・ゴラッソの番記者たちがゲームの能力値と実際の実力について解説します。
相手の意表を突くフェイントや繊細なボールタッチ
全国高校選手権で得点王を獲得するなど、かつてはストライカーとして名を馳せた片桐だが、現在の甲府では攻撃を組み立てるオーガナイザーとして君臨している。

特筆すべきはチームトップの数字となっているドリブル精度の81だ。MFで起用されている甲府では、そのドリブルはペナルティーエリア内ではなくバイタルエリアでよく活用されている。飛び抜けたスピードがあるわけではないが、相手の意表を突くフェイントや繊細なボールタッチ、絶妙な体の使い方で相手を次々と翻弄。特殊能力としても備わっている「ドリブルキープ」で中盤でタメを作り、そしてラストパスを供給する役割を担っている。


「ロングパス」、「ショートパス」の精度がチームトップクラスなのも、彼が“コンダクター”として攻撃を司っていることを表している。
